Art Rogers
Artist – owner, Art Rogers Designs

Since 1997, as a textile artist, I create a variety of textile sculpture items including animals, whimsical and fantastical creatures, seasonal, and art dolls, using interesting fabrics, mixed media, unique and contemporary designs. My work has been featured in magazines, galleries, retail outlets, and sold around the world. I’ve attended many trade shows around the world, including United Federation of Doll Clubs (UFDC) and Original Doll Artist Council of America (ODACA) events/meetings, ‘meet the artist’ at Osaka Japan, and exhibits at Effusion Gallery, Key West, Florida, Dog Tired Studio, Key West, Florida, Tropic Cinema, Key West, Florida, and three exhibits (‘Summer Breeze”, “Art to the Rescue’, and “What’s Your Sign’) at Stirling Art Studios & Gallery, Dunedin, Florida. I also conducted hands-on classes where students actually made textile sculpture using materials and tools I provided. I worked in the Conservation Department at The Saint Louis Art Museum, retiring after 32 years. Master of Fine Arts, Washington University, Saint Louis, Missouri
